WOOD WEEKEND

Acabamos de volver de pasar dos días geniales aprendiendo a tallar madera en el precioso taller de Angel Pisonero, no solo hemos aprendido muchas cosas sobre la madera y cómo trabajarla, si no que además nos ha servido para desconectar y relajarnos, dando con el mazo a la gubia y el escoplo te olvidas de todo y así he vuelto con fuerzas para enfrentarme a esta semana que me espera llena de trabajo, mails, llamadas y reuniones. Os dejo con imágenes del taller y de esos días tan bonitos que hemos pasado aprendiendo (también los peques han jugado trasteando con la madera y las virutas, haciendo construcciones y pintando) Aprovecho para invitaros a ver mi carpeta de Pinterest Woodbeauty con inspiración y objetos en madera.
Y por cierto...en el próximo post prometo desvelaros el tema de inspiración de la colección que estamos preparando...ya estamos recibiendo las prendas de los talleres y todo pinta muy bien...

We are already back from a nice weekend attending a workshop on wood carving at Angel Pisonero´s place in Salamanca. Not only did we learn many things about wood and tips on how to handle it, we had the chance to complitly disconnect  from the hussle of our ordinary lifes. It is nice to see how one can relax when focus on doing something crafty. Below you´ll see some pic from these good days we spent  learning new skills (the kiddos did also had a good time messing around playing with woods blocks and sawdust and painting). I also take the opportunity to invite you to have a look on one of my folders at pinterest full of amazing wooden stuff. 
And by the way... on next post I´ll promise to finally reveal the inspiration theme of the collection we are about to launch... we are getting garments from our factories and all is looking great...
