things I like (39) "Telares"

Me encantan los telares y el resultado de jugar manualmente con los hilos, crear texturas, superponer colores, hacer tramas, cuadros, dibujos...Uno de mis sueños es tener un telar en casa y usarlo para desconectar, para solo fijarme en los hilos, poniendo cuidado y esmero en crear mis propias telas...tener tiempo para tejer...pasar las horas viendo como crece poco a poco la tela, hilo a hilo, recuperar el tiempo de la lentitud.... y poder trasnformar este mundo rápido y loco en un mundo "slow"

I love looms and it is nice to play with the threads to see what happens. I like creating textures and superimposing colors. I like making wefts, squares and so on. One of my dreams is having a loom at home and being able to disconect from real world and dive into a world of threads and carefully make my own fabrics. It would be nice to have time to slowly weave and see the hours pass by. Is such a compelling idea the fact that we can recover the slow peace of the past and transform this fast and crazy world we live in. Weave and weave as Ghandi did ♥
