She is Ana Sender, the designer behind Malditanita, she makes beautiful accesories and she is also a great ilustrator, we love her work and you can see more of her stuff in her blog.

Para THE CRAFTER PROJECT ha hecho 5 collares en madera cuidadosamente pintados a mano, tienen además un packaging precioso en diferentes colores. Los collares al estar pintados uno a uno son todos diferentes y únicos. Ya sabéis que podréis adquirirlos en nuestra tienda a partir del Miercoles a las 21:00h.

For THE CRAFTER PROJECT she has done 5 beautiful necklaces painted carefully by hand, they also have a lovely packaging in different colors. If you like these you can buy them next Wednesday at 9:00 p.m in our shop.

Estas son Pilar y Raquel, las diseñadoras de lanusa, una marca de complementos y ropa que hacen cosas muy bonitas utilizando técnicas como el crochet, el punto de cruz o el patchwork. Podéis ver sus creaciones en su blog o visitar su tienda.

Para THE CRAFTER PROJECT han creado 5 bolsitos iguales hechos en crochet, con flores bordadas a mano y forrados en tejido de raso de seda con estampado de nuestra colección "la llorona". Son una monada y podéis comprarlos en exclusiva a partir del próximo Miercoles!!! Y mañana seguimos!!

For THE CRAFTER PROJECT they have created 5 crocheted clutches with embroidered flowers and also using some of our printed fabrics from"la llorona" summer collection in the inside lining. Cute!! You can get them next wednesday!!! And tomorrow more!!!!

Esta es Adriana, la diseñadora de Jeez Vanilla, una marca de cerámica alucinante que tiene su taller en Madrid y que hace unas cosas verdaderamente increibles, podéis conocerla mejor visitando su web y su tienda.

She is Adriana, Jeez Vanilla´s designer, she makes the most beautiful ceramics in her atelier in Madrid, you can check out her designs in her site and shop.

Para THE CRAFTER PROJECT Adriana ha hecho una colección de 5 platos diferentes inspirados en distintas prendas de la colección, cada uno tiene un nombre, como la llama moderna, la silvestre, la campera, la andina...y podéis ver algunas de las prendas de inspiración aquí o aquí.
Cada ilustración está hecha a mano, transformada en calca cerámica y cocida a 800 grados durante 14 horas. Son piezas únicas e irrepetibles!!!

For THE CRAFTER PROJECT Adriana has done 5 different plates inspired in  prints and garments from our colllection, each one has a name like the modern, the andine, the silvester...you can check some of the inspiration here or here.
Each ilustration is done by hand, put in to the ceramics and cook during 14 hours at 800ºC. These pieces are really unique!!

Para "the crafter project" Verónica ha creado una serie de 5 collares preciosos y únicos tallados en madera a mano y pintados en unos tonos pastel que van perfectamente con nuestros vestidos de "la llorona" el packaging es una maravilla con un estampado geométrico diseñado por ella, todos los collares están numerados y van acompañados de un pequeño texto explicativo. Si os gustan ya sabéis que estarán disponibles el próximo Miercoles en nuestra tienda!!!

For the "crafter project" Veronica has created a 5 limited edition of cute necklaces hand carved in wood and painted in a range of pastel colors that perfectly suits our dresses from "la llorona" summer collection. Hoy por fín os podemos contar el proyecto en el que hemos estado trabajando estos últimos meses:

THE CRAFTER PROJECT





Los que leeis habitualmente este blog ya sabréis que nos encantan las cosas hechas a mano, que somos fans del nuevo "arts&crafts",  de los diseñadores que hacen cosas delicadas, creativas y sin grandes pretensiones... gente que trabaja localmente...de forma sostenible... y utilizando técnicas ancestrales como el ganchillo, la madera, el bordado etc...
Para apoyar este movimiento de gente creadora y emprendedora hemos invitado a ocho de nuestras "crafters" españolas preferidas a diseñar 5 piezas exclusivas inspirandose en nuestra colección de verano "la llorona"... poco a poco os iremos mostrando los resultados y os iremos desvelando el nombre de estas ocho diseñadoras y el Miercoles 25 a las 21:00 h subiremos todas las piezas a nuestra tienda online. Cada pieza está numerada, tiene un packaging especial y un regalito para la persona que la adquiera, además el 20% de la venta lo destinaremos a poner nuestro granito de arena en los proyectos de Greenpeace. Os advertimos que las piezas diseñadas son maravillosas, no os perdáis este blog cada día para irlas descubriendo!!

Those who usually read this blog already know that we love handmade stuff and that we are fans of the new arts&crafts movement. We like creative small designers making delicate things locally in a sustainable way and using old materials and techniques like knitting, embroidery and so on...
To support this wave of creatives entrepeneurs we have invited 8 of our favourite spanish crafters to design 5 exclusive pieces having our summer collection "la llorona" as an inspirational motive. Little by little we will show you the results of all of this and reveal the names of the crafters. Each piece is part of a limited edition of 5, has a special packaging and it includes a small gift for the person who buy it, and they will be available at our shop next Wednesday at 9 P:M. Also the 20% of the price goes to Greenpeace. The pieces are beautiful, keep on visiting the blog to find out how all this look like....

Para "the crafter project" Eva ha creado 5 Ninfas del Bosque muy especiales.

She is Eva, the designer behind Misako Mimoko, to know her better visit her blog and shop. We love her work!!

For "the crafter project" she has done 5 little lovely dolls.

Son 5 muñequitas casi iguales cuidadosamente hechas con telas vintage, bordadas a mano, con orejitas de fieltro y braguitas de distintos colores. Estás muñecas están inspiradas en esta foto de nuestra colección "la llorona" y los vestidos están confeccionados de la misma tela de tafeta que lleva Brianda en la foto. Si os gustan no os las perdáis en nuestra tienda el próximo Miercoles!!!!

5 small dolls almost identical, carefully made with vintage fabrics, hand-embroidered. They also have cute felt ears and pants in different colors. These dolls are inspired in this dress of our summer collection "la llorona" and their dresses are made out of the same fabric than the original. If you like them check our online shop next Wednesday!!!

Esta semana he impartido en El Estudio un curso intensivo de Estampación Manual, aunque ha sido una semana dura con Valentina más llorona que de costumbre y pocas horas de sueño..he de decir que he disfrutado muchísimo este curso y estoy muy contenta con los resultados! se pueden hacer cosas tan chulas en casa con muy poquitos medios y usando la imaginación...

P.D: Ya estoy preparando más cursos de estampación manual para Octubre...daremos stencil, carving blocks, sellos, serigrafía casera ...

This week I ´ve been so busy at El Estudio giving lessons on an intensive Hand Printing workshop. It´s been also hard handling Valentina criying more than she normally does and this means few hours of sleep. But it´s been worthy, I am happy with the results and I´ve enjoyed the experience. It´s nice to know that one can do many nice things at home with almost no materials and lots of bits of imagination!!!

CRAFT

El Miercoles que viene por fín desvelaremos el proyecto en el que llevamos trabando estos últimos meses...somos un poco lentos, pero está quedando precioso! Mientras tanto os dejo con pistas como nuestro logotipo bordado a mano por Lanusa.
Por otro lado esta semana estamos realizando un curso de Estampación Manual en El Estudio y los resultados son geniales, mañana os enseño fotos *_*

things i like (34) Dominique Donois

Hace ya 10 años que conocí a Dominique en Paris, ella exponía sus esculturas de Papel Maché en la feria Workshop donde nosotros participábamos, enseguida conectamos genial porque tenemos un universo muy afín y además ella es un amor... Espero que os guste tanto como a mí las cosas que hace Dominique, son ilustraciones en 3D hechas en papel maché y en directo son casi más bonitas!!!!

P.D: Por cierto, para las que me habéis preguntado, los sellos de letras y la tinta para tejido del post anterior las he comprado aquí.

We met Dominique 10 years ago in Paris. She was showing her panoplies at Workshop trade show and we were showing one of our first collections there too. We became friends fast because she is so adorable and  we share a similar esthetic universe ..Let me introduce you  to her beautiful work in Papier Maché , it is a sort of 3D drawings...I think it is so beautiful and cute!! I hope you like it as much as I do.

TARDE HANDMADE

Llevo unas semanas sin poderme sentar a pintar y ayer por fín saqué un ratito para probar sellos nuevos y pintura para tela llegada de japón ...pasé un estupendo "handmade afternoon"...algunas de las cosas que hice no os las podré enseñar hasta dentro de unos días cuando os cuente el proyecto sorpresa que estamos preparando...cada vez queda menos para desvelar de que se trata!!!!

I´ve spent a few weeks so busy that I haven´t had the chance to sit down and paint. But  finally yesterday I had few hours free to try the new stamps and fabric ink that I just got from Japan. I had such a nice handmade afternoon... some of the things that I did I can´t show to you now because they belong to the secret surprise project that we are working on!!!

Siempre me olvido de hablaros de las tiendas que tienen ropa de "la casita de wendy",  vendemos en tiendas multimarca con una estética cuidada y estamos felices de que les guste nuestra ropa y apuesten por nuestros diseños!! Se agradece tanto...
Cuando estamos diseñando una nueva colección es muy dificil acertar, a veces tenemos dudas y bloqueos creativos (en plan esto gustará? esto me está quedando bien?) y luego esos miedos desaparecen cuando comprobamos que nuestros clientes siguen fieles y sonrien al mostrarles la ropa!!

I always forget to tell you about the shops we sell in. We sell in boutiques with a precious aesthetic and we are happy to know that people like our designs and we are grateful to them.
When we are designing a new collection it is difficult to know beforehand if we are in the good path. Sometimes we doubt and sometimes we have creative crisis but all these feelings go away when we see the smile in the face of our clients when we show them our designs!!

Estoy contentísima porque hoy ha llegado a casa esta preciosidad de muñeca de Miszko Maszko que me tocó el otro día en el sorteo de FINE LITTLE DAY (increible, pero cierto, los sorteos tocan a alguién de verdad...) y tengo que decir que: en directo es muy mucho más bonita que en foto,  está llena de detalles, es reversible y son dos muñequitas en una y lleva el nombre de su verdadera dueña bordado...es el mejor regalo del mundo y todavía no me creo que nos haya tocado!!

I´m so happy!!! I just got this beautiful doll by Miszko Maszko that I won in a giveaway at FINE LITTLE DAY ( truly amazing, but some people win at giveaways). The doll looks better in my hands, is full of details and it is also a reversible doll  which means that it is a doll that is two dolls. The name of the new owner is embroidered in the tag... It´s the best  present in the world, I still do not belive that I have it!!

Estamos preparando una sorpresa para medidados de Mayo, estad atentos porque es un proyecto en el que llevamos trabajando mucho tiempo y estamos muy ilusionados!! Vais a alucinar!!!! y hasta aquí puedo leer...

We´ve been working  for a while on a nice surprise project to come up someday in May. By now is kind of secret  so stay tuned to find out more about this new exciting adventure....
