THE GIFT STORE

Hoy os quiero hablar de The Gift Store, una tienda preciosa que está en las Rozas Village. Una iniciativa genial de los chicos de IOU project en la que han reunido a muchísimos creadores españoles en un mismo espacio para crear una tienda de regalos de calidad y 100% hechos en España, me parece una idea excelente ya que es muy dificil encontrar diseños bonitos y cuidados agrupados con criterio. Además han cuidado hasta el último detalle en la decoración y presentación... También organizan talleres y actividades así que es un lugar muy recomendable para visitar y sobre todo ahora que estamos todos buscando los regalos para Reyes. Nosotros también tenemos una bonita selección de objetos y prendas a la venta allí y no se si sabéis pero en las Rozas Village todo tiene descuento, así que es el lugar ideal para comprar regalos originales y bien de precio!!
Si no conoces The Gift Store ya estás tardando en acercarte, es toda una experiencia!!! os dejo con fotos para que veáis de lo que os hablo, me alegra muchísimo ver el nivel al que están los diseñadores en este país, hay muchísima creatividad, pero también calidad y buen hacer ♥

Today I´d like to talk about The Gift Store,  a beautiful store at Las Rozas Village ideated by the boys at the IOU project where you can find a space 100% dedicated to spanish designers. I think it is a brilliant idea because it is quite difficult to find so many nice and very well cuarated stuff at such a good price (at Las Rozas Village every product has a discount). The store is arranged in a very delicate manner and it is also a place where different kinds of workshops and activities take place. It is a very recommendable option for those of you looking for gifts to celebrate the three kings thing. We have also some of our designs there. So maybe you feel like popping over there and see the great design level of our spanish designers and maybe you feel also like supporting them ♥

Uno de nuestros clientes favoritos es Cocktail, una cadena de tiendas en China y Hong-Kong que llevan comprando nuestras colecciones desde hace más de 10 años!! Nos encanta lo bonitas que son sus tiendas y la imagen que crean cada campaña... os dejo con una foto de una tienda y del catálogo de invierno en la que sale nuestra chaqueta de punto con osos y pinos y el bolso de crochet que hicieron las chicas de Lanusa para nosotros, espero que os guste (^_^)

One of our favourite clients is Cocktail, a chain store based in China and Hong-Kong. They´ve been buying our collection for more than 10 years now!! We love how nice their stores are and  how they decorate them each seasson...Below you can see a couple of pics, the first shows the interior of one of the stores, the second is a picture from the winter catalogue in which the girl wears our knitt jacket with the bears and pines motives and holds our crocheted bag the girls from Lanusa made for us.. ELLE CHINA

Ya de vuelta de Barcelona, todo ha ido genial!! Ahora a lidiar con una semanita complicada, recibimos el muestrario de Otoño-Invierno 2012 y tenemos que hacer las fotos, Look-Books etc... Además somos jurado en un concurso de diseño y tengo clases por todas partes...socorro! os dejo con una foto de Elle China de uno de nuestros vestidos que expusimos en la presentación a prensa Spring-Summer 2012 de COCKTAIL en Hong-Kong.

We are back from Barcelona where everything has been great!!! now is time to face a complicated week. We are about to have the samples of our 2012 fall/winter collection ready and we need  to hurry to take some photos and design the look books. We are also part of the jury in a design contest and we are busy teaching at the university... Help!!!


Here you can see a picture from Elle China, it is a dress we showed at the press open day at COCKTAIL in Hong-Kong.

Si algún día vais a Hong-Kong, Pekín o Shangai podréis visitar una de las preciosas tiendas COCKTAIL donde venden "la casita de wendy" (es emocionante tener unos clientes tan chulos en lugares tan lejanos), una de las cosas que más me gusta de estas tiendas es que editan sus propios catálogos donde coordinan nuestra ropa con la de otras marcas con resultados tan molones como estos que os dejo aquí...

If you're going to Hong Kong, Beijing or Shangai you can visit one of the lovely COCKTAIL shops with "la casita de wendy" one of the things I like about these stores is that they publish their own catalogs where they coordinate our clothes with other brands with beautiful results like these ...

Hoy quiero mostraros dos tiendas nuevas que venden "la casita de wendy", las dos son preciosas y acaban de abrir sus puertas,  si queréis conocer nuestros puntos de venta por todo el mundo solo tenéis que pinchar aquí.
Muxugorri es el proyecto de Irene, una ex-alumna de El Estudio que además de ser muy emprendedora y creativa, es la mamá de dos preciosos niños. Ella tiene su propia marca para peques y en su tienda de Donosti podéis encontrar sus creaciones junto a otras cositas como nuestra última colección.

Muxugorri project is Irene´s, a student of El Estudio and also a very enterprising and creative woman. She has her own brand for kids and in her Donosti store you can find her creations along with other goodies as our latest collection.

Perez 78 es un espacio precioso en Toledo, además es una tienda con un concepto muy particular que me encanta. Sus creadores Hector y Natalia apuestan por diseñadores nacionales, que hacen las cosas localmente y con cierta conciencia ecológica y social, además no solo venden ropa, también se pueden encontrar cosas para regalar, accesorios etc..El espacio es alucinante, lleno de muebles antiguos, suelos hidráulicos...y en pleno casco histórico de Toledo!!

Perez 78 is a precious space in Toledo, is also a shop with a very particular concept that I love. Its creators Natalia and Hector wanted to have only national designers, who do things locally and with some ecological and social conscience. In their shop you can also find gifts, accessories etc. .. The space is amazing, full of antique furniture, beautiful old floors ...and in the historical center of Toledo!

Siempre me olvido de hablaros de las tiendas que tienen ropa de "la casita de wendy",  vendemos en tiendas multimarca con una estética cuidada y estamos felices de que les guste nuestra ropa y apuesten por nuestros diseños!! Se agradece tanto...
Cuando estamos diseñando una nueva colección es muy dificil acertar, a veces tenemos dudas y bloqueos creativos (en plan esto gustará? esto me está quedando bien?) y luego esos miedos desaparecen cuando comprobamos que nuestros clientes siguen fieles y sonrien al mostrarles la ropa!!

I always forget to tell you about the shops we sell in. We sell in boutiques with a precious aesthetic and we are happy to know that people like our designs and we are grateful to them.
When we are designing a new collection it is difficult to know beforehand if we are in the good path. Sometimes we doubt and sometimes we have creative crisis but all these feelings go away when we see the smile in the face of our clients when we show them our designs!!

Pues si, nos hace muchísima ilusión anunciaros que nuestra colección Otoño-Invierno 2010-2011 estará en ANTHROPOLOGIE, una prestigiosísima cadena de tiendas internacionales. Para los que no conocéis esta tienda, que es de nuestras favoritas, os contaremos que tienen una genial selección de marcas de moda, además de decoración, hogar, regalo etc... Tienen tiendas en Londres (Regent Street, Kings Road...), EEUU, Canada etc... Además de una genial Tienda Online donde se pueden adquirir todos sus productos. Yes, we are happy and excited about our fall-winter 2010-2011 collection being at ANTHROPOLOGIE, a prestigious  international chain stores and one of our favourites, where you can find a nice variety of fashion brands and interior design. They have stores around the world (USA, Canada U.K...). They also have a great Online Shop where you can get all their stuff. Hace unos días os hablamos de algunas tiendas que tienen nuestra ropa y hoy queremos enseñaros más tiendas bonitas donde podéis encontrar nuestros diseños.

Estamos felices de compartir perchas con PotiPoti en su tienda de Berlin, nos encanta lo que hacen y tienen un espacio alucinante, si vais por allí no olvidéis visitarla.

Few days ago we talked about some shops where you can find our garments and today we want to show you more beautiful places with our stuff.

We are happy to share hangers with PotiPoti in their shop in Berlin, we love what they do and their space is awesome, dont hesitate visiting them if you are around there.

También os queremos enseñar una pequeña y coqueta tienda en Marsella que se llama La Sardine a Pailletes que es preciosa.

We also want to show you this beautiful and cozy shop in Marseille called "La Sardine a Pailletes".

En Madrid podéis buscar nuestra ropa en varias tiendas y recientemente en El Beso que es una tienda nueva que está en la Calle Loreto Chicote 9,al lado de la Gran Vía... la fachada es espectacular!!

In Madrid you can find our items in many shops and recently in El Beso a brand new shop in the center near Gran Via...the front window is great!!

Y en Barcelona estamos en varias tiendas también, destacamos Suite que es la primera tienda en la que vendimos en esta ciudad y que tiene una selección de diseñadores genial. También nos encanta B-Huno, al lado del MACBA, un espacio muy cuidado y especial con muchísimas prendas de "la casita de wendy".

In Barcelona we are in many different shops, we love Suite because is the first shop we ever had in this city and they have a really good selection of designers. We also love B-Huno a wonderful shop very close to the MACBA museum, the have a very cute space with many of our designs.
