things i like (31) Gunta Stölzl

Me gusta Gunta Stölzl porque aunque a las mujeres las relegaran a crear textiles en la Bauhaus (porque consideraban que para Artes mayores no servían) demostró que ningún Arte es mayor ni menor y que crear tejidos como los que ella hizo requiere muchisima sensibilidad e imaginación.

 I really like  Bauhaus artist Gunta Stölzl because she created amazing fabrics full of imagination and sensibility that erased the artificial line between big art and small art. Remember that women were considered inferior in the Bauhaus and relegated to textile design also considered as a minor art.
